'Black Knight'. Deep reddish-purple with central gold streak on falls plus a few small markings either side of streak. It has been in circulation for many years and is listed by several nurseries in 1993/94; two of the catalogues I have describe it as indigo-blue. My plant came from Jack Venner and he said, I think that it might have originated with Jack Drake.--Anne Blanco-White. Iris chrysographesDykes]
