'Wild Whimsey' (Donald Spoon, R. 2015) Seedling# 2010-G13Z. SDB, 11" (28 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards light purple (RHS 77C), light violet-blue (97A) veins and midribs, erect; style arms same; falls red purple (59A) spot, ground color presented only as a ¼” light purple (77C) border with lavender-blue (97A) veins uniquely extending to edges, thick white (N155D) haft marks between red-purple (59B) veins around beards, wide and touching, horizontally flared; beard solid orange (23A-D), darkest deep in throat, lightest at ends; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Velvet Elvis' X orange bearded ruby red seedling. Introduced 2016 by Winterberry.
