'White Gem' (Earl Roberts, R. 1973) Seedling #73R11. SDB, 13" (33 cm), Early midseason bloom. White self; white beard. 'Arctic Fury' X 'Atomic Blue'. Earl Roberts 1974. Honorable Mention 1978, Judges' Choice 1978.

From AIS Bulletin #214 July 1974 Introducing WHITE GEM. 13", 73R11: (Arctic Fury X Atomic Blue). A beautifully formed pure white self with no distracting colors or marks; strongly cupped S; semi-flaring F; rounded petals. No pollen but pods readily. An eye catcher! $10.00. Roberts.
