1977, Palmer
'Velvet Pride' (Cleo Palmer, R. 1976). Seedling #7529. SDB, 15 1/2" (38 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards medium light purple; falls very dark purple with medium light purple rim; yellow beard tipped blue-violet. Seedling #7259: (('Wilma V' x unknown) x 'Little Titan') X 'Bloodspot'. C Palmer, Riverdale Iris 1977.
