From Mid-America Garden catalog, 1987: TUMBLEWEEDS - SOB, 12 " (30 cm), Midseason. Just like Tumbleweeds the comic strip character, this Tumbleweeds is a character too. He is just come in from the range with a fine dusting of sand and dirt. Standards are ivory tan witha grey violet midrib. Falls are about the color of peanut butter with lightly applied reddish brown diffuse spots. Beards are blue white with an orange throat. Form is round with a bit of ruffling.
