'Sudden Music' (Helen Stevens, R. 1964) Seedling# 62-21. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Midseason bloom. Red-purple self, blue beard. TB X unknown I. pumila. Stevens 1965.

From AIS Bulletin #177, April 1965. Introducing SUDDEN MUSIC (H. Stevens '65) SDB 12" (TB x pumila) unknown. Wine red with a bright, light blue beard. Closed standards and flaring falls. Another exciting color combination. $5.50. Helen Stevens.
