| From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2007: SHORT VERSE - SDB, 15" (38 cm), Midseason-Late. It doesn't have to be long and drawn out to be good, a SHORT VERSE will do. SHORT VERSE is a lovely, very subtle minimal plicata. Standards are warm salmon pink. Gold styles add a bit of dimension. Salmon cream falls blend darker toward edges, and hafts are brushed and speckled with medium cinnamon plicata marks. Bright orange beards set the clumps afire. Use it with darker marked plicatas for dramatic colors and patterns. Sdlg.
