'Royal Fairy' (Alta Brown, R. 1967) Seedling# M 879-5. SDB, 14-15", Early bloom. Standards deep red-violet (Wilson royal purple 834); falls darker royal purple slightly lighter border; wide light violet beard. 'Royal Contrast' X 'Dark Fairy'. Brown's Iris 1968. Honorable Mention 1969; Judges Choice 1969.
