'Precious One' (Grace Guenther, R. 1967) Seedling# K-S-1. SDB, 14" (36 cm), Midseason late bloom. Shell pink self (Wilson 516/3); beard pink tipped tangerine. 'Lipstick' X seedling# F3 of E-21-l ('Dolly Varden' x 'Nana'). Maple Tree 1968. Honorable Mention 1971.

From AIS Bulletin #189 April 1968 Introducing PRECIOUS ONE. SDB. 14" to 15". A light shell pink self, not marred by any yellow glow, with a pink self-tipped tangerine beard. Ruffled and very flared. A great new beauty. None other like it. $15.00. Maple Tree Gardens.
