'Plum-Plum' (Carl Boswell, R. 1978) Seedling# 111-73-2. SDB, 12" (30 cm). Midseason bloom. Red plum, darker in center of Falls; blue beard. 'Bloodspot' X 'Ruby Contrast'. Boswell 1980. Honorable Mention 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing PLUM PLUM (Carl Boswell 1980). SDB, 13", #111-73-2: (Bloodspot X Ruby Contrast). As the name implies, it is a gorgeous plum color with a darker spot in the center of flaring falls, with blue beard. Well domed. A stand out in the garden-fairly shouts "Look at Me"! $7.50. Boswell Iris Garden.
