From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1962: PICTURE YELLOW (Douglas 1954) Each 1.50. A dwarf that is really different. Two tones of yellow with the lighter yellow standards gradually whitening as flower ages. 10 in.
Fairmount 1954 PICTURE YELLOW (Douglas 1954) E. Delightful and different, this two-toned yellow when it first opens is a bi-tone with the standards lighter than the falls. As the flower develops the standards become almost white, giving the effect of a yellow Amoena. 10 in.
