From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: PHONY - SOB, 15" (38 cm), Midseason. Phony has a veined plicata pattern that I'm very fond of. White standards have a wide, heavily sanded and veined medium purple plicata band and line up midribs. White falls have a narrow lightly sanded medium purple plic band with darker stitching all round. Intermittent medium purple veins traverse over the fall centers. White beards are tipped tangerine, which adds to this clean ensemble. Stalks have 1 and sometimes 2 branches with 3-4 buds that enables Phony to have a long bloom season. Sdlg. J344E: Bright Flash sib (Time To Shine x (Tangerine Tangent x P.Black 892358)) X Rebus. $15.00. |
