'Pele' (J. Terry Aitken, R. 1993). Seedling# 87M33. SDB, 11" (28 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards orange; falls orange, deep purple spot, orange hafts; beards coral; slight fragrance. ('Be Dazzled' x B. Jones seedling# M-304: (seedling# M229-2: (Roberts seedling# 65-R-11 x seedling# 201) x 'Melon Honey')) X ('Fire One' x B. Jones seedling# M 334-2: (('Solar Flight' x seedling# M255: ('Melon Honey' x seedling# M229)) x (seedling# L20 x seedling# M255))). Aitken's Salmon Creek 1993. Honorable Mention 1995; Award of Merit 1997; Cook-Douglas Medal 1999.
