'Pastel Petite' (Alta Brown, R. 1965) Seedling# M-281-1. SDB, 10" (25 cm), Early bloom. Heliotrope-violet (Wilson 631/1 to /2), with darker area around blue beard. 'Pastel Gem' X 'Pastel Gem'. Brown's Iris Gardens 1966.

From AIS Bulletin #181 April 1966 Introducing PASTEL PETITE (Pastel Gem X self) SDB. 10". A dainty pastel violet or heliotrope color with small area of darker violet around the lavender beard. Rounded flaring falls. Lovely and different. $7.50.
