From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2007: NINE LIVES - SDB, 14" (36 cm), Midseason-Late. With as many times as poor Puddy Tat was bashed by Tweety Bird, it is a good thing he had NINE LIVES. With myriads of bloom stalks, NINE LIVES will give a long lived performance. White standards have greenish gold veins up midribs and pale tan bands along top edges. Styles are yellow cream. Very round, ruffled black-cherry falls have very distinct 3/16 inch white bands and short white darts along and at ends of beards. Big, thick, chenille beards are white with tips brushed yellow gold. NINE LIVES makes a startling clump that you won't walk past without noticing. It is an exciting parent. Sdlg. K344A: Puddy Tat X Puddy Tat sib. Photo page 88. $18.00. |
