Standards bright yellow (RHS 13B), grey-brown (177A) vein pattern inside base, closed, domed; style arms bright yellow, lighter yellow (12D) edges, laced crests; falls bright yellow, grey-brown spot dissected with ¹⁄₈˝ yellow midline, grey-brown (177B) haft veins hidden deep beside lower half of beards, glowing yellow sunburst, flared; beards solid orange (24B); pronounced spicy fragrance; ruffled.
