■(SDB) 'Live Jazz'

1986, Lankow

'Live Jazz' (Carol Lankow, R. 1985). Seedling# 2A24-3. SDB, 12" (30 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards coral pink (RHS 28D); falls coral orange (26B); coral tangerine beard. 'Spring Bonnet' X Wright seedling# L56: ((('Pink Cushion' x 'Lenna M) x 'Amber Shadow') x 'Cotton Blossom'). Kirkland Iris, Riverdale Iris 1986. Honorable Mention 1989.

From AIS Bulletin #261 April 1986 Introducing LIVE JAZZ-SDB 12" EM Sdlg. 2A24-3. Spring Bonnet X (pink SDB x Cotton Blossom). Hot color. Apricot pink standards, apricot orange fairs, coral beards-all high intensity. Form is just acceptable, but sitting on branched stems on vigorous plants, this is a garden ornament. $10.00. Kirkland Iris Garden.
