From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2012: LITTLE STEPS (Black ‘12) SDB Midseason Late 14” (36cm). Subtle and lovely with a satiny finish. Little Steps is another advancement toward clear pink and blue combinations. Edges on lilac-pink standards are shaded mid blue. Mid blue falls show undertoning of pink. Finally after many generations of breeding for pink standards and blue falls with pink bands, and the reverse; colors are beginning to clear. Results to this point have been various shades of slate blue and mauve pink. Hopefully the goal isn't too many more steps away. Sdlg. Q108B: ((Dancing Bunnies x Cachet sib) x (Navy Ruffles x Hot Jazz)) X ((Sweet Baby x Flights of Fancy) x (Baby Soft x (Honey Bunny x sib to Matter of Fact pollen parent))). $18.00. |
