'Little Shadow' (Geddes Douglas, R. 1953). SDB, 12" (30 cm), Early midseason bloom. Self of deep blue-violet; beard blue violet. 'Gulf Stream' X pumila blue. Fairmount, Brentwood 1953.

NOTE: Registered as IB but considered SDB. IB. 'Little Shadow'.

From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1962: LITTLE SHADOW (G. Douglas 1953). Each 85c. A complete self with both flower and beard a deep blue-violet. 12 inches.
