'Little Grackle' (Edwin Rundlett, R. 1963). Seedling# E-314. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Early bloom. Color Class-VlD, Dark purple self with luster. ('Clear Sailing' x 'Sulina') X ('Clear Sailing' x 'Sulina'). Old Brook 1964.

From Old Brook Gardens catalog, 1964: LITTLE GRACKLE (Rundlett '64) E 12". This is a near black self from the blue side with a lustrous sheen such as that seen on the bird, Purple Grackle, hence the name. Purple beard. Falls flare 3-1/4 inch span. We think you will like this one. (Clear Sailing x Sulina) X sib. Net $5.00.
