1971, Brown

'Java Girl' (Alta Brown, R. 1970). Seedling# M1397-8. SDB, 11" (28 cm), Early bloom. Standards golden brown; falls rich dark brown, blending lighter at edges, light brown line from tip of lavender blue beard to edge of falls. 'Sunlit Trail' X 'Gingerbread Man'. Brown's Iris 1971. Honorable Mention 1973.

Golden brown cupped standards, lightly laced; rounded flaring falls are rich dark brown, lighter at the edges and a light brown line runs from the tip of the lavender beard to edge of falls.
