From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: GHOST SHIP - SDB, 14.5" (37 cm), Midseason-Late-Very Late. There is nothing else like Ghost Ship, not anything even close. Pale lemon standards are infused light green up ribs and upper quarter is lined and sanded dark plum up to jagged edges. Oyster styles have faint gray veins in crests. Wide falls have bright yellow luminata patches blending to paler cream-yellow and then to light rose-mauve margins. Fine, dark mauve texture veins run from luminata patch to fall edges. Beards are bright yellow-gold becoming white at ends. A very subtle, ghostly creation but very pretty. Ghost Ship opens the door to even more unusual luminata patterns. Sdlg. L365A: Tahoma X Yippy Skippy. $18.00. |
