2021, Black

'Flying Monkey' (Paul Black, R. 2021). Seedling Z190E. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standard butter, upper half heavily washed dark khaki; style arms light violet-white, butter edge and crest; falls vivid canary luminata haft, white surrounding end of beard, lower 1/3 washed and sanded red-brown streaking into white patch, narrow yellow band; beards vivid neon orange; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling V230C: (seedling R258A, 'April Fanfare' sibling x 'My Cher') X 'Jolly'. Mid-America 2021. Honorable Mention 2023.
