Donald Spoon, R. 2004). Seedling 98-63A. SDB, 15" (38 cm), Early, midseason, late bloom. Standards golden yellow; style arms and Falls slightly darker golden yellow; beards yellow tipped white, orange in throat; lightly ruffled, flared.

From AIS Bulletin #333 April 2004 Introducing Florist Gold (D. Spoon) SDB, 15" (38 cm), EML. Sdlg. # 98-63A. Lightly ruffled, flared, bright golden yellow slight bitone with dark maroon deep inside and at the base of the erect standards. Beards white tipped and orange deep. The falls have a pleasing rounded effect. 2-5 buds. Very vigorous. Great clump effect with flowers above the foliage. No fragrance. Fertile both ways. Ideal stalks for table decoration and for the florist trade. (Webmaster X Autumn Maple). $15. Winterberry Gardens. |
