From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: DOUBLE LIFE - SDB, 13" (33 cm), Early-Midseason, Rebloom. Double Life is another introduction that is as notable for its clump as for the individual flower. White standards are lightly plicata marked pale violet and ribs are solid light olive. Styles are lime-butter. Wide white falls have light olive hafts peppered dark plum and pale violet-blue plicata bands. Beards are white capped yellow-gold. Both the first round of bloom as well as rebloom about a month later are full and cover the clump. A three year clump was still able to produce two rounds of quality bloom. Sdlg. I225K: sib to Fires Of Fiji. $18.00. |
