(SDB) 'Dixieland Delight'

1984, Nichols

'Dixieland Delight' (Hooker Nichols, R. 1983) Seedling 8251B. SDB, 12" (30 cm). Midseason to very late bloom. Dove grey-pink, suffused purple at midrib; falls same, vivid maroon blaze, ruffled; orchid beard. Seedling 7924A: ('Rikki Tiki' x 'Amazon Princess') X C. Palmer seedling 7259: (seedling 6939: ('Wilma V' x unknown) x 'Little Titan'). Hillcrest Iris 1984.

Orchid beards. Pod fertile. ((7924A: Rikki Tiki x Amazon Princess) X (c. Palmer #7259: (Wilma V x ?) x Little Titan)). Very different and lovely. 510.00. Hillcrest Iris Gardens.
