■(SDB) 'Cool Satin'

1987, Ritchie

'Cool Satin' (Jayne Ritchie, R. 1987). Seedling 80-8-3. SDB, 10.5" (26 cm), Early midseason bloom. Ruffled satiny sea lavender (RHS 85D), tinged amethyst (84C) at Standard midrib and falls hafts; orchid crest with occasional 1/2" horns at tip; pale lavender beard tipped gold in throat. Seedling 75-6-4: ('Spring Salute' x 'Pale Suede') X seedling 75-4-17: ('Blue Pools' x 'Pale Suede'). Ritchie 1987. Exhibition Certificate 1985.
