'Cool Melodrama' (Hooker Nichols, R. 1984). Seedling 8266A. SDB, 12" (30 cm). Early to late bloom. Standards veronica violet; falls lighter, darker hafts; white and orange beard; ruffled. 'Maxine Bartlett' X 'April Anthem'. Hillcrest Iris 1986. Honorable Mention 1991.
