'Chum' (Ben Hager, R. 1991). Seedling SD4919-4YPcOrBds. SDB, 11-14" (28-36 cm), Early to late bloom. Bright maize yellow, pale brown plicata edging on falls; beards very bright orange. Seedling SD4443YPc: (seedling 3255Pc: (('Dainty Royal' x 'Zip') x ('Marinka' x (('Knotty Pine' x 'Grace Note') x 'Zip'))) x seedling 3844BrtYPc: ('Noisemaker' x 'Pepper Mill')) X 'Toasty'. Adamgrove 1991.

  • SDB 'Chum' was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately May 7-14. It also has very light Purple Based Foliage at least during and after flowering. -- HollyJohnson2017-04-01 - 06 Aug 2017
