1996, Smith

'Chardonnay' (Marky Smith, R. 1992) Seedling 89-21A. SDB, height 12" (31 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards bright yellow (RHS 11A); falls lighter yellow (11B) with darker shoulders, hafts and rim; beards strong yellow, heavily ruffled. Seedling 87-27M: ('Cotton Blossom' x 'Laced Lemonade') X B. Jones seedling 392-1: ('Sun Doll' x 'Dixie Pixie'). Aitken's Salmon Creek 1996. Honorable Mention 1998.
