From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2011: CAREER (Black ‘11) SDB Early-Midseason 12” (30 cm). Carol Lankow's Jeweler's Art has been a very productive variety for hybridizers to use to create very richly colored seedlings. Career is one of those. Standards are dark fuchsia purple covered by darker navy texture veins. Velvety black cherry falls are accentuated by lavender beards ending in short blue violet darts. Hybridizing with Jeweler's Art and its offspring has given some of the reddest seedlings yet seen. Sdlg. P136B: (Eye of Newt x Marksman) X Jeweler’s Art. $18.00. |
