2009, Spoon

'Blueberries' (Donald Spoon, R. 2008). Seedling 2001-16A. SDB, height 15" (38 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms white; falls same, royal blue-violet (RHS 93C) spot, white spike below beard; beards white tipped tangerine, darker in throat; flared, slightly ruffled. 'Ajax The Less' X seedling 99-54A: ('Tweety Bird' x seedling 97-545A: ('Baby Blessed' X 'Pele')). Winterberry 2009.

From AIS Bulletin #353 April 2009 Introducing Blueberries (D.Spoon). Sdlg. 200l-16A. SDB, 15" (41 cm), 2-3 buds, M. S. style arms, and F pure white. Royal blue-violet (RHS 93C) spot on falls with white spike below beard; white beards tipped tangerine becoming darker in throat. Flared and slightly ruffled. Vigorous growth. Fertile both ways. Ajax the Less X 99-54A (Tweety Bird x 97-545A: (Baby Blessed X Pele)). $15. Winterberry Gardens.
