■(SDB) 'Blue Secret'

1968, Brown

'Blue Secret' ( Alta Brown, R. 1967). Seedling 63-68-28. SDB, height 13" (33 cm), Early bloom. Standards light blue (Wilson French blue 43/3); Falls same with lobelia blue spot around pale blue beard; small white line below beard separates spot. 'Lovilla' X unknown pumila (probably 'Blue Capers'). Brown's Iris Garden 1968

From AIS Bulletin #189 April 1968 Introducing BLUE SECRET (Lovilia X pumila, probably Blue Capers). E. 13". Lovely clear French blue with a small lobelia blue spot around the pale blue beard. $5.00. Brown's Iris Garden.
