David Spence, R. 1988). Seedling S83-400-1., R. SDB, height 12-15" (36- 38 cm), Midseason bloom. Lightly ruffled cream-tan, russet brown spot and veining on Falls; light blue beard tipped yellow, yellow in throat.

From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing BISBEE (Spence) SDB, 12-15", M. The emphasis is on heavy substance and beautiful form. The creamy tan flowers have a russet brown spot and vein pattern on the falls. Two branches plus terminal have 3 buds. The standards are domed and closed, and the flaring falls are lightly ruffled.
