From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: BEST BUDDY - SDB, 14" (36 cm), Midseason-Late. Best Buddy isn't flashy but it always has a role in making a beautiful clump for your garden. Slightly smokey lavender standards are blushed rose over centers and open just enough to see the lavender and pink styles. Wide falls have bluish white patches around beards that are veined gray-blue. This area then has a diffuse moustache band of brown-plum that is wider at hafts and narrower at the ends of yellow to white beards. The remainder of the fall is smooth, slightly smokey lavender. This interesting pattern can be bred into lots of other colors with even more striking effects. Sdlg. I171C: (Pumpin' Iron x First Alert) X Glamour Cat. $18.00. |
