From Melrose Gardens catalog, 1958: BAUBLE (Alice White) 10"-12" (diploid tall sdg. X Yellow Frills) NET 2.00. (Standard Dwarf Just that, - a Bauble, to the iris breeder (it is sterile) but to the gardener it will be one of those precious Baubles that are treasured with fondness through the years. Small 2" flowers in bright yellow with domed standards and flaring falls, on the wiry, but sturdy stems and low foliage. |
