'Attack Cat' (Paul Black, R. 2003). Seedling I268A. SDB, 13" (33 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards cream, wide washed medium blue violet plicata band, darker stitching and midrib line; style arms dark purple; falls warm white ground, charcoal purple haft veining with 3/4" solid outer edge, continuing on remainder of petal as stitched violet margin; beards violet at end, ochre, to gold in throat, base white; ruffled; slight musky fragrance. Seedling E118A: ('Hot Jazz' x 'Quote') X 'Hot Jazz'. Mid-America 2004. Honorable Mention 2006; Award of Merit 2008
