'Acceleration' (Jack Boushay, R. 1983) Seedling 76-P-3. SDB, 11.5" (29 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards maroon (Wilson 1030) with yellow brown blended into edge; falls lighter maroon with more yellow brown blending; yellow beard tipped blue; pronounced spicy fragrance. Seedling 74-AP-2: ((seedling M 1390-9 x 'Love Note') x 'Knockout') X seedling 72-A-5: ( 'Kentucky Bluegrass' x 'Gingerbread Man'). J. & J. Iris 1983.
