'Wild Survivor'. (William Plotner, R. 2003). Seedling PC 961-C. CA, height 24" (61 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards blended amethyst violet (RHS 84C) and mineral violet (84D), veined darker (84A), light ethyl blue (112D) edge; style arms ethyl blue; falls blended amethyst violet and mineral violet, veined darker, edge lighter, signal yellow. Seedling PC 93D: ( I. tenax varirty gormanii x I. douglasiana pale blue) X seedling PC 93G, sib. Wildwood Gardens 2003. Honorable Mention 2006; Award of Merit 2008; Mitchell Medal 2010.
