'Sea Admiral' (Vernon Wood, R. 1995). Seedling# 93-51. CA, 14-16" (41-46 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards white, lined violet, veining lighter in center; style arms white, slightly veined violet; falls nearly solid heavy violet veins, 1/4" near-white edge; ruffled. 'Idylwild' X 'Star Symphony'. Stockton 1995. Honorable Mention 1998; Award of Merit 2001; Mitchell Medal 2003

Water: Prefers well drained but moist good garden soil, More tolerant of dry conditions in established plants, Needs swampy conditions especially in Spring bloom season.
PH Prefers Acid solis 6.1 to 7.0, intolerant of limy soils
Fertilizer tolerant of poor soils.
