1992, Wood 'Indian Paintbrush' (Vernon Wood, R. 1990) Seedling #90-14. CA, 10" (25 cm). Early midseason bloom. Dark red violet in center 1/4, lightening to light red violet, some pale red areas near rippled edge, dark red violet lines radiating from center. Seedling #88-47: ( 'Rincon' x 'Different Drummer') X seedling #88-44: ( 'Roaring Camp' x ( 'Three Cornered Hat' x seedling #84-6, involving Ghio seedlings.)). Portable Acres 1992. See below:
