'Hobo' (E. B. Williamson, R. 1934). MTB, Very late bloom. Lemon and maroon bicolor. Too short for MTB in some climates.

From Longfield Iris Farms catalog, 1934: Hobo (Wmsn. No. 35, 1934). (Pedigree Lost). A bright little dwarf variegata with the most attractive and unusual dark green foliage whose leaves are blunt edged, heavy, fibrous and curly. The foliage is 10 inches high and the blooms 14 inches. The S. erect and open; spatulate; Light Cadmium. F. horizontal; wedge-shaped; Maroon veining of haft carried down into fall until it finally emerges into a solid color. Style branches, Light Cadmium; Beard, Cadmium Yellow. Small flowers; 3 inches wide and 2 inches high; good branching with three flowers to a stalk. Very vigorous. $1.00.
