'Billie The Brownie' (John Burton II, R. 1991). Seedling #385-P-3. MTB, height 23" (58 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards golden brown blend (near RHS 199C/D); falls golden brown blend (near 199B/C), gold at hafts, iridescent purple overlay in center; beards bright gold; slight fragrance. Blue Twinkle' X -- probably 'Spanish Coins'. Burton 1992. Honorable Mention 1995; Award of Merit 1997; Williamson-White Medal 1999.
