'Adazzle' ( Terry Varner by Stephanie Markham, R. 2012) Seedling #T02-16A1. MTB, 22 (56 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards blue-violet, darker blue-violet wire rim; style arms blue-violet; falls bright orchid-violet lightening at the hafts to white with orchid-violet veining; beards gold, hairs based white, tipped gold. Varner seedling #T94-6B3: (seedling #Q-348: (seedling #N329: 'Dancing Gold' x unknown) x seedling #L310: ( 'Ring Bearer' x Dunderman seedling #MLD-0-195)) x 'Astra Girl') X 'Cheese and Wine'. | From Aitken’s Salmon Creek Garden, 2013: ADAZZLE (W. Terry Varner by Stephanie Markham 2013), MTB, 22" (56 cm), M. This little gem has clear blue-violet standards, bright orchid-violet falls and shiny gold beards on well-branched stalks. Best of all, the petals are diamond dusted, setting the plant "adazzle" when the sun hits it. It is a heavy bloomer and a vigorous grower, making a nice, tight clump in a very short time. Diploid.
