We are here to exchange information about Irises. Please allow each of us to make our own judgements as to the value or quality of a particular plant. Disparaging remarks that reflect your own judgements or personal tastes are not appreciated. Persons who violate these rules will be warned and if they persist will be banned from the wiki.

Because data can be changed on the wiki, please rely on printed materiais such as the AIS Checklists and Registrations & Introductions as authoritative references. Information in the wiki comes largely from its members and despite a modest attempt at review, it can not be considered the opinion of the AIS. If inaccuracies are noted, or messages are sent violating our good taste and politeness rules you may contact robertpries@embargmail.com to have the offensive material removed.

Copyright: The photographer retains the copyrights to their own photos and if you desire to publish a photo you must contact the owner of the image. Since images are generally too small for printing one is advised to seek out a higher resolution copy from the owner and negotiate any payment with them. Some people may be glad to share their images with anyone wishing to use them on other websites. If this is the case please put UNR (for unrestricted non commercial use) in the comment box when uploading the picture.
