'Swirling Mist' (Jean Witt, R. 1966) Seedling 63-06. CAL-SIB, 24" (61 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards dull lavender, veined and washed on palest ivory ground; Falls same, darkening to violet around yellow signal. Pale blue 'I. douglasiana' X brown seedling (probably 'I. chrysographes' x 'I. forrestii'). NW Hybridizers 1966. Honorable Mention 1971.

Received an Honorable Mention in 1975 as a Pacific Coast Native (Californicae).
