Lavender (RHS 76A/B), Standards with darker violet purple (77A) speckles, Falls with darker plum purple (79A) spots, bright yellow signal covered with big plum purple dashes becoming solid in center. Seedlings involving I. dichotoma and Belamcanda chinensis . Joe Pye Weed 2002.

From Joe Pye Weed catalog, 2002: SPOOKY WORLD- SPECX-1. dichotoma/Belamcanda hybrid. Probst, 52", M. It is the signals on this lavender flower which give it the spooky appearance. Yellow underneath with dark purple to brown markings make you feel like the "eyes" are looking at you. This plant has the most magnificent branching with forty-five bud placements and nine to ten buds per placement for at least 400 blooms per stalk. $20.00
