1955, Lenz

'Royal Californian' (Dr. Lee Lenz, R. 1955). Hybrid between California and Sibirica, 15" (38 cm). Early bloom. Standards and Falls Bishop's violet (Wilson 34/1) to cobalt violet (Wilson 634). I. douglasiana x I. sibirica 'Caesar's Brother'.
