Delkin 1938 catalog notes " Golden Sunshine. There is no other Dutch iris like this in either form or brilliance of coloring. It is a decided orange-yellow so brilliant and clear that it stands out among the other varieties like a beam of sunshine on a dark day. Its form is most alluring. Our own origination.
