(Spx) 'Dorothea'

YYYY, ??

'Dorothea' "Light lavender blue flowers (Larger and paler than 'Toltec') flecked with a deeper tone"--Perennial Garden Plants, by G. S. Thomas. said to be a cross with Iris tectorum. Probably the same as the registered IB cultivar 'Dorothea', which carries it's falls and standards in the same way as Iris tectorum, but is likely a cross between Iris lutescens Lam. and Iris germanica
